The post San Diego Comic-Con experience for non-attendees usually amounts to wading through countless footage descriptions and enduring endless leaky buttcam (ew) videos that some little do it yourselfer that the rules don’t apply to decided to film with the tiniest, crappiest camera available. A tiny camera that they somehow attached to a caffeine addicted ferret for the purpose of making sure it is extra shaky and off centre… but I digress.
Well, the good new is that the exclusive first look at David Ayer‘s forthcoming Suicide Squad, that was leaked has now been officially released (even though both the director and the Studio said they had no plans to do so.)
So, now that you’ve seen it completely in focus and not a 45 degree angle… what do you Think?
I’ve just spent the past 10 minutes typing and then deleting an intro/rundown/synopsis of the newly released Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer that dropped from the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
It’s not that I am at a loss for words or that I am having some difficulty expressing my thoughts on the two and a half minutes that we got to see (we being the people not in Hall H, they got an extra 40 seconds or so.) No, the main problem is I keep going back and re-watching the damn thing because it is just so damn good.
Getting a little taste of Jesse Eisenberg‘s Lex Luthor. Seeing Superman rips open the cockpit of the Batmobile. Batman stands up and stares him down. Obviously we’ll be talking at great lengths about this trailer when we review this years San Diego Comic-Con, but for now this will stand as my reaction to the above fever dream turned trailer.
Hot and fresh from the Doctor Who panel at this years San Deigo Comic-Con, yes it is our first good look at what series 9 has in store for us. Obviously Peter Capaldi is back, along with a few returning foes like the Daleks (yay!) and Missy (ugh.)
We also get a stinger showing us that whoever Maisie Williams plays, (good money is on it not being Arya Stark but fingers crossed for a Game of Thrones crossover episode,) well it is clear that she and the Doctor have a history.
Of course we’ll be highlighting the high points from today’s Doctor Who panel in our forthcoming SDCC review show that will be recorded after SDCC wraps up this weekend since our TARDIS is currently in the shop.
Doctor Who is back on TV screens this September on the 19th.
